While I am not at all surprised at the biased anti Israel reports being shown around the world, I am very upset. The world, as was to be expected, has once again turned its back on the only sane Democratic country in the Middle East. I had no expectations of the world in the past and have none in the present. I am however, terribly disappointed with the Israeli reaction to this blatantly violent terrorist attack that happened at sea.

While the Israeli press played along with the world press and titled this “terrorist fantasy cruise” as an act of humanitarian peace chasers, Israeli soldiers were put in danger and in fact injured by the hands of these “freedom fighters”! Let there be no mistake! In Gaza THERE IS NO HUMANITARIAN CRISIS! That’s right; supplies are being sent daily as well as food and medicine along with millions of dollars.

Unfortunately for the Palestinians, the Hamas TERRORIST government that the people of Gaza democratically elected has been taking the supplies and money and using them for terror. These boats are new age terrorism! These ships were sent to undermine Israel’s independence as well as deliver both weapons and terrorists to aid Arab terrorism against the State of Israel.

Let’s play naïve and say for just a second that the people on these ships actually gave a damn about the people in Gaza! Let’s fake it and say that all they really wanted was to supply the poor Palestinians with food at all cost! Would it not make sense then that when Israel says all we want to do is make sure there are no weapons on these “peace” ships they would peacefully comply and help us with the security checks? Wouldn’t their peaceful behavior expedite the delivery of supplies that they claim are needed in Gaza so desperately? Now let’s stop faking it and start facing the hard violent reality! The terrorists on these ships are not interested in the children of Gaza! They don’t give a rat’s ass (excuse the language) about the situation in Gaza. There was and is only one thing on the minds of these modern day terrorists; to terrorize Israel!

It is very well known that the war we are fighting today is a media war. Unfortunately the Arabs have successfully convinced the world that Israel fought wars against a Palestinian army and during those unjust wars we, Israel, occupied what was once Palestine, and Arab State. The truth that there was never an Arab Palestinian State and there was never a war fought against a Palestinian army doesn’t faze anyone in the UN.

The Arab propaganda machine is so well organized that the world has completely forgotten that Israel is no longer in Gaza! The world has completely forgotten the fact that for 8 years the Arabs of Gaza have launched over 22,000 missiles at random civilian populations in Israel! Not to mention the fact that these missiles were launched from the very locations that Israel forcefully removed Jewish civilians from in 2006.

The audacity of the Arab propaganda machine knows no limits or moral standards. They will use children as live targets and then blame it on Israel. They will blow up their own schools and hospitals and blame it on Israel! They will use their children’s schools and other sensitive building to fire from so that Israel has no choice but to fire back and then claim that Israel is targeting civilian targets. (Movie of kid shot) They will stage people being killed and when the plot is publicized the world will say NOTHING!

We can yell and scream facts from here till doomsday and it won’t help. The world is not interested in facts. They weren’t interested when Hitler was gassing us and they aren’t interested now.

There are those Israelis who are blaming Netanyahu for the worst International Relations State we are in. They use Turkey to prove that we pushed our allies away. Newsflash; Turkey has been building ties with Iran and Syria for years and it’s about time we stop allowing them to watch and even join military exercises when they are clearly jeopardizing our safety!

When has the world been happy with us? When eight Yeshiva students were brutally murdered in Mercaz Harav the world gave us a hug and then warned us not to use excess force! When busses were blowing up right and left the world blew us a kiss and then condemned us for excess force! When missiles were falling on Israeli civilian areas for eight years the world said aaawwwwww… and then condemned us for fighting back! The world loves us when we are getting blown up and killed or when we chose not to react to those who are trying to annihilate us. International waters or not will not make public opinion pro Israel. Israel being wiped off the map will make the world applaud!

Gilad Shalit is rotting in a basement in Gaza with no rights! No visitation from the red cross or his family and the worls says nothing! Then Israel is looked down upon when we take the rights of terrorists to earn a degree in Israeli jails?!

The UN will certainly condemn Israel and say we massacared peace activists. The Arab world will react with violence and terror against Jews across the world and the UN will accept this behavior and blame it on Israel! There will be no mention of Gilad shalit or the attempted murder on the “Ship of Terror”! It is not because the world doesn’t know the truth, it is because the world believes the natural place for Jews is the victim and not the strong defender! ( kid with hands up in the holocaust)

So let us make it perfectly clear to the world; “You can’t stand us, we know that, we have always known that but we have tried to behave in a way so that you will not actively try to destroy us. Now that it is clear that you are immoral, anti-Semitic, pro terror and lacking of any integrity I feel no guilt when you condemn me, I would be worried if you supported me!

So the next time one of your “Peace cruises” reaches the waters of my small country I hope and pray the captain receives three warning and then we will blow the ship up.

OH JERUSALEM

On Wednesday we will celebrated the reunification of the city of Jerusalem. Many Religious Zionist schools danced and praised Hashem while some secular schools cursed the day we occupied Palestinian Jerusalem, and some of the Chareidi sect watched with total indifference at best, and scorn at worst.

How long can this situation continue? Do we really deserve to live in an era in which Jews can freely pray at the Wailing Wall and yet have a total lack of appreciation? We are living in an era in whichsoldiers belonging to the Jewish faith are responsible for the safety and security of their own nation. Yet we complain, we hate, we have finally come home but can’t figure out how to get along!

Can this possibly be the beginning of messianic days? Is it possible that Jews who are not observant are the tools that G-d is using to start the redemption process? An army who’s high ranking officers do not keep many of the Torah laws; can we rely on them to help protect Am Yisrael? A new generation is being educated in Israel, they speak the Hebrew language and yet can’t say Shema Yisrael without stuttering, is this a sign of Messianic days?

Well it all depends on whether you look at the world with a shade of black or perhaps you have the ability to see the white light. I do not believe there is a single G-d fearing Jew who believes we have made it to the final Geula. However to deny the obvious signs is at best silly or at worst a blemish of KFUY TOVAH, ungratefulness to Hashem.

For the first time in two thousand years, there is more Torah being studied and books being written in Eretz Yisrael than ever before! We are witnessing what our sages taught is a clear sign of the Geula, the gathering of Jews from all four corners of the earth;Ethiopia, Russia, Iran, Iraq, Yemen, USA, England, Australia and more! Marriages between Ashkenazi and Sephardic or Yemenite couples are proof and witness to the modern day Kibbutz Galuyot.

The teshuva movement has taken off like never before. Jews who are completely disconnected are finding themselves on the many Jewish roots seminars in Israel. Perhaps the most unbelievable imaginable occurrence came about when the nations of the world themselves voted and gave the Jews a right to rebuild, after two thousand years, a religious, national Jewish homeland in the Land of Israel!

While many would like to color the obvious beginning of redemptions black, the truth is that more than 50% of officers in the Israeli defense forces are religious! The army is indeed a Jewish one. The IDF is shomer Shabbat and therefore does not allow any army exercises to take place on Shabbat or chagim! Military cooks by law must abide by Jewish dietary laws! On Holidays and Shabbat it is common to find a Minyan in any army base made up of all Jews. Soldiers who abide by a chareidi way of life are given special units as well as meals so that they can continue to abide by their customs and at the same time contribute to the safety of Am Yisrael and Eretz Yisrael.

While there are those who laugh at the Israeli flag and call it a sign of idolatry they forget that the flags colors were picked in order tosymbolize and remember the Techelet on Tzizit! A totally secular Jew picked colors because they symbolize the garment we wear that reminds us of our Jewish duties! It is really not that hard to see the good here! It just depends on whether you want to see it!

In order to cause Shalom Bayit, the State of Israel had allowed the brightest students to be excused from army service on the condition they spend all their time learning, Does this sound like an anti Jewish State to you?!

Why did G-d pick Ben Gurion? Ask G-d!

Perhaps we, the religious, became so used to and comfortable with our lives in Galut, our dream to return to the Land of Israel was limited to words of prayer alone. Perhaps it wasn’t G-d who picked Ben Gurion but rather it was us, the religious, who did not stand up and see the sign that it was time to come home! The fact that people who were less observant were the ones to start the process should not be a blemish on the movement but rather a symbol of shame to the religious.

Yes, there are Jews who are not observant and there are many problems in Israel today but do not forget that when we left Egypt we were on the lowest level of impurity and yet we dance and sing based only on the fact that we were freed. Torah is what has kept us alive for two thousand years of exile but do understand that when you, my Chareidi brother, make nasty remarks about our holy soldiers or even when you do not speak out against those who desecrate their memory by not standing during the siren or even the fact that your Yeshiva refuses to say a teffilah for the safety of our Chayalim, you are hurting people! You are causing tremendous pain to those who have sacrificed their own children, who are in constant danger, so that you can sit safely in your Yeshiva and learn.

Understand, my Chareidi brother, when you demonstrate hatred or negativity towards the State and in the same breath accept money from the State, money from taxes taken from hard working people who do NOT always agree with your way of life, you are causing a tremendous Chilul Hashem.

When the mobs of Chareidim who check their Etrogim with a magnifying glass learn to check their appreciation and love for their fellow Jew with same kind of awe and fear, the argument of the Geula will be totally irrelevant due to the fact that AhavatChinam will be bring the final Geula

While I am distanced from those who lead the masses, I scream to those Gedolim who stand as a lit torch for those who follow, please break your silence! Give instruction, teach cautiousness when it comes to insensitivity towards fellow Jews. Whileyou might not hear the screams and disrespect in your homes, while you yourself would never act in a way that would cause harm or embarrassment to anyone, while you may not see the hatred that is being both demonstrated and caused it exists, it is terrible and is being transgressed by those who say you are there representative!

To my non observant Jewish brothers and sisters, I understand your anger and frustration towards certain sects of Jews, However, you are Jewish! You survived two thousand years of exile and are lucky enough to witness the rebuilding or our homeland. Many of you lost family members and have paid the ultimate price of the rebuilding of our homeland. What for? Why are we here? Why is it that you are willing to put yourselves and your family in danger?

Things are not perfect, there is plenty we must do to improve The Rabbinate must learn to behave with warmth and stop collecting money for Kashrut on things like bleach. There are many Jews who dress as religiously pious people but their actions are not. There are plenty of things that must and can change BUT don’t judge Judaism by Jews! Do not throw out your two thousand year old tradition because of those who use it for deceit. We have survived two thousand years of exile and have finally come home, now is NOT the time to give up!

While It is important to you that every Jew living in Israel contribute to the physical survival of our small Jewish State, isn’t just as important that every Jew contribute to our spiritual survival as well ? It is embarrassing and totally insensitive when Jews continue walking as if nothing happened as the memorial siren wails on Yom Hazikaron, “DON”T THEY FEEL ANY CONNECTION?”

Why does it not bother you when Jews no longer remember to cry on the 9^th day of av when women ate their young out of hunger and our temples were destroyed? Is it because of the time that went by? Don’t you believe in the motto “NEVER AGAIN”? Isn’t your insensitivity just as bad?

You, my Jewish brother, scream at the religious and ask, “Who gave you the right to monopolize Judaism” and at the same time keep your children ignorant when it comes to Torah study. After walking out of the flames of Europe or the shackles of Arab lands, after surviving and conserving our tradition for two thousand years in spite of our enemies, now is the time to enrich ourselves with our tradition, to strengthen our roots to show our enemies that they have not succeeded! No one has a monopoly and that is the reason you should embrace your tradition. If you distance yourselves from our tradition then it is you who is causing certain sects to claim they are the “real” Jews.

I have witnessed Jews celebrating Sylvester or even Valentine’s Day in Israel! Is this why we the Jews have survived 2000 years? What are you are celebrating? Do you understand the lack of connection, the embarrassment and insensitivity of Jews who celebrate holidays that caused your ancestors tremendous amounts of suffering death and pain? It has come to a point where more secular Jews celebrate the Christian New Year than those who keep Chag Shavuot! We have no present without our tradition and we have no future without you and every other member of the Jewish nation connecting to that tradition. Perhaps when you become emotional about your Jewish roots as you do about your Israeli roots it will be you who will bring the prophecy of peace unity into the realm of reality.

So come join the celebration, come daven, dance and rejoice in the fact that we have come home. After two thousand years of wishing, and praying, come show your gratitude to Hashem for allowing us to live in Jerusalem. Do not be impartial and do not scorn me. Put your arm around another Jew and feel the happiness in the reunification of Jerusalem. We have received a tremendous gift from Hashem!

Let us use our Jerusalem to unite the nation so that we will not argue about whether we are witnessing the beginning of redemption but rather experience total redemption.

Binyamin Netanyahu spoke at the last AIPAC pep rally and declared, with that golden tongue of his, Israel should not be penalized for building in Jerusalem because Jerusalem is not a settlement, it is our capital!

While the AIPAC community cheered and waved their fists like a group of cheerleaders, I was wondering if there is any basis at all to the Prime Minister’s words.
Jerusalem is not a settlement? Well then, what is it?

Let's suppose for a moment that Jerusalem is a settlement, does that strip the right of Jews to build in their own country?

What is a settlement? The word originated in the Torah (the original Bible) when G-d commanded the Jews to settle the land of Israel. How a positive commandment of G-d turned into an immoral act according to the UN is a subject for a whole other article.

When Arabs settle in Iraq or Kuwait, is that settlement also an illegal establishment? When Arabs build illegally in the north, south, east, and west of Israel are they evil settlers or do they have some special status over the Jews that allows them to settle and build to their heart’s content?
Mr. Netanyahu, we build in Jerusalem because it IS a settlement!
Like a widowed mother who was separated from her son, so has Jerusalem longed for the return of the Jewish people to resettle the Jewish homeland!

The holy city of Hebron, where our Patriarchs are buried, or the tomb of Joseph, and yes, even the temple mount, are all Jewish Land.
It is time our leaders stop acting bashful and embarrassed that we miraculously survived 2000 years of exile. We must stop feeling guilty because the world waves a fist at us when we decide to build in the Land Of Israel.

Bibi, Jerusalem is not only the capital of Israel, it is a settlement! It is a settlement that has been longed for, bled over and prayed for throughout our painful history. Whether the world likes it or not, we have come home. We are resettling the land of Israel.

It is of no surprise to me that the world has a hard time understanding that we are no longer going to turn the other cheek or relinquish our historical, national, and religious rights to a hostile Muslim population. I do expect however, our leaders (at least those who are not part of the post Zionist left) to speak in a clear concise tone.
I have a hard time believing that Binyamin Netanyahu can't find the right words to explain to the world that the Jews settling the Land of Israel is not a crime! In the small chance that Bibi is at a loss for words I have prepared a letter addressed to the UN.

Dear UN,
For two millennia we have tried to live as equals in many of the countries that sit here today. We never made any attempt to take over or destroy any of you. We were very loyal citizens and were always loyal to the law of the land. Even when the laws you decreed were hurtful and many of the laws anti-Semitic in nature, we realized we were guests and behaved!

When the Nazi war machine tried to annihilate us from the world, all we heard was your sigh of relief, 'maybe they would succeed in ridding the world of us'. There were no yells of occupation or illegal building of camps or the use of excessive force (like cyclone B!). You all sat quietly as we were systematically being murdered, raped, abused, gassed, and shot! Some of the countries sitting here today actually felt that meeting Hitler was a good idea! AHEM – England!

After the European nightmare was finally over, we looked for help, a place to gather the survivors. What we found was closed gates all over the world! Not one country happily opened their gates to allow our survivors to resettle!
After coming to the understanding that you, the world, have no interest in us Jews, we turned home. We came to the Land of Israel with the goal of resettling our religious, historical, and national home!

We had no intention to fight or kick out the Arab population that was living here. We came in peace and wished to settle the land that was empty and dead. When the Jews of Hebron were slaughtered by local Arabs in 1929, it came as a complete surprise. We could not understand what drove the Arabs to brutally attack their Jewish neighbors who had always treated them with respect.

Even you Britain, acted with deceit and incited the Arabs to attack us. You refused our cry for arms to defend ourselves while you shut your eyes as the Arabs collected guns and ammunition. Time and time again, our call to the Arabs to live in peace was answered with violence and brutality.

When the UN voted on our right to a national homeland, all the surrounding Arab countries united in the goal of finishing Hitler's job and you did nothing! First in 1948 then again in 56', 67, 73 the Arabs tried again and again to destroy the Jewish homeland!
Till the war of 1967, the Arabs prohibited Jews form visiting the Western Wall, the cave of patriarchs, and other holy sites. Jordan destroyed synagogues throughout Jerusalem and turned our cemeteries into Latrines!

There was no freedom of religion, but a racist, fascist Muslim regime that reminded us of darker times. In 1967 Israel was once again fighting for her survival against 7 Muslim armies. To the world’s surprise and perhaps disappointment, Israel came out victorious in that glorious war!

We freed the holy sites from the racist claws of Muslim rule and opened the holy city of Jerusalem to all religions! In a hideous act of betrayal, the Israeli government handed over the keys of the temple mount to the Mufti (Muslim religious leader). Can you imagine the Muslims handing over the keys to Mecca to a Jew?! Is there any greater act of trust than Israel handing over the holiest of holies to her enemy?!

What did we do with the land we freed? We settled it! We planted trees, opened businesses and the land blossomed for the first time in 2000 years! We allowed Muslims and Christians to be part of our Parliament and 15% percent of our small country consists of Arab citizens!

There is total religious freedom throughout Israel! In how many Muslim countries do you find the religious or personal freedom we allow in Israel? In what Arab country to you find Jews who have rights? In what Arab country does anyone except the Muslims have rights?!

In 1964, Yasser Arafat created the PLO (Palestine Liberation Organization) This terrorist group had only one goal, the destruction of the Jewish State. The PLO attacked civilian populations in Israel as well as abroad.

NOT ONCE have you, the UN, ever issued a condemnation of any Palestinian or Arab terror! In fact you have always excused these brutal murders with the ludicrous justification that Israel is occupying their land. Perhaps the Jews of Germany should blow up the German parliament? Perhaps Spain should receive some Jewish suicide bombers? Perhaps England should suffer several brutal massacres and murders? Aren't we the Jews, deserving of a good revenge on almost all of you sitting here today?
BUT we the Jewish people do not act in such hideous ways! We do not glorify death, we glorify life!

We don't blow up your towers or hijack your plains, we don't burn your flags or call for the death of the western infidel world, we do not call for our well deserved revenge. We want to live!
You have the audacity, the CHUTZPA to shake a fist at us and tell us it is a crime to settle our land? SHAME ON YOU!

Condemn us and punish us to your heart’s desire. We are used to your shameful, hypocritical anti-Semitic attitude.

Let me assure all the countries who sit around the UN table.

We will settle, we will build, we will fight for our survival!

America: Friend, Foe or Fool?

For the first four years of my elementary school education, I pledged allegiance to the flag of the

United States of America

. I said it with pride as I placed my right hand over my heart in an act that demonstrated honesty and integrity. I actually felt that I, a Jewish youngster, was proud to be part of the great nation called

America

.

As I grew older, I learned of facts that not only stripped me of that pride, but filled the void with a sense of fear and suspicion. I still do believe we should possess a great sense of gratitude to the American nation for hosting the Jews, treating us as equals, and for just plain old not killing us. With that being said, no Jew or Israeli should foolishly believe that

America

’s love for the Jews or the Jewish State is based on anything more than an opportunist loving his opportunity.

It would make perfect sense for America to side with the Jewish State for nothing more than the fact that we are the only true Democracy in the Middle East. Without Israel, the rest of the Arab nations would have become subordinates to the Soviet war machine, which would have left America standing alone in a sea of fanatic Muslim countries without the ability to park their planes or soldiers in the area.

Perhaps the fact that almost every terrorist group that exists in the world today is Muslim might have convinced the American public that Muslims cannot be trusted. Perhaps the burning flames that brought down the Twin Towers and killed thousands of innocent Americans should have really closed the case with a guilty verdict pointing at the Muslim world. Instead of the Muslims having to pay the price of their extremist terrorist groups, the fist of American justice has been aimed once again at Israel.

Today I am left with a feeling of betrayal, betrayal not against the Jews or against Israel but rather against the free world. American foreign policy has taken a turn towards hugging terrorists under the ridiculous claim of curing the hatred and rift between the Muslim and Western worlds. Instead of America becoming super cautious and suspicious of any nation that cheers Muslim dictators, America has turned the pressure on her allies in order to appease those who want to destroy her! When President Obama talks of “bridging the gap” between the Muslim world and the United States, what gap is he trying to bridge? Perhaps the gap that was caused by witnessing Muslim terrorists screaming at the top of their lungs that they want to see the destruction of America along with the rest of the infidels? Maybe the number of burning American flags on the streets of countless Muslim cities caused the gap? Or was it the fact that while America was fighting in the gulf, the Muslims were dancing on the rooftops as they saw Iraqi missiles rain down on civilian populations that caused the gap? Whatever caused the rift, hugging these terrorist will not bridge the gap but rather cause a Tsunami!

I also have a personal bone to pick with the US. I am not yet sure what the basis of America’s kindness towards the Jews or friendship with Israel is. It is not a love that is natural or baseless. When the crematoriums were working overtime in Auschwitz, American planes flew over, knew what was transpiring, yet it was decided that diplomacy with Hitler was more important than stopping the Jew burning festival.

During the Yom Kippur war, it was America’s fear that Israel would turn to “other“ weapons that brought up the major arms delivery from America. The idea that Israel was close to being wiped off the map didn’t seem to bother anyone.

The nations of the free world seem to be playing in the same orchestra as America. While the world twists Israel’s arm to relinquish the Jewish homeland to Palestinian thugs, the world applauded the arch terrorist, Yasser Arafat,as he accepted the Nobel peace prize! There is no incident that demonstrates the absurdity, immorality, and obvious bias of world opinion more than the fact that Yasser Arafat was put up on a pedestal and given the highest honor along with a big fat check for being a man of PEACE! Perhaps this honor was given in order to bridge the rift between the PLO terrorist organization and their victims, the rest of the free world!

One would think that the American public would be able to see clearly that the Muslim world has chosen them as their #1 enemy. It would seem obvious to anyone whose eyes and ears are working properly that the hugging and bowing to the Muslim world is not only immoral but dangerous to the survival of the free world. Unfortunately, the hypnotic effect of the liberal utopian fantasy has destroyed common sense and has caused the natural drive of survival to prostrate before the fairytale hallucinations of world peace.

The Arabs don’t hate Israel because of the territories. The Muslims don’t hate America because of the war in Iraq or Afghanistan. American flags are not burned because America supports Israel. King Abdullah didn’t meet with Hitler in WW2 because of the settlements! Arafat did not start the PLO in 1964 (before the settlement block existed!) with the goal of pushing all the Jews into the sea because of the settlements!

It is time we understand that this war is a war based in a violent unforgiving religion called Islam. It is a Jihad! This is not my opinion but rather statements vocalized by the leaders of the Muslim world. We are fighting a religious war. screams at us for ruining the chance for peace. One would think busses blowing up and killing innocent civilians would be the reason the peace talks failed. One would think that the random Qassam shelling of innocent Israeli civilian populations for 7 years would be the stumbling block to peace! Perhaps the mistrust between the Jews and the Muslims was caused by the 7 wars the Arabs waged on

Israel

with goal of destroying the only Democracy in the Middle East. One might suspect that the Palestinian public support of

Iran

and their insane dictator would cause the downfall of peace talks! Who would have ever guessed that Israel building apartments in her capital city was the main obstacle to peace?

So what is it that causes the world to bow to those who look to destroy it? Why does the UnitedStates of America choose to bridge the gap between a fundamentalist and violent terrorism-based religion and the American way? If your child was attending school with a murderer, would you want him to become close with the murderer or distance himself as much as possible? Why is Europe choosing to side with the Muslims and constantly condemning Israel? What have the Muslims given to the world that causes such the mantra; “Must appease the Muslims”?

There is no doubt in my mind that Europe’s actions are based in old style anti Semitism. Sorry Europe, I have not forgotten your actions from only 70 years ago! My memory is not that short! I do not believe that Europe is capable of changing. Their hatred of Jews flows deep through their veins. I know that there are those who do not hate us, but the vocal majority love to! What about America? I do not believe America is anti-Semitic at all. The American public is a practical, money motivated society. When money or oil is on the line, there is no love or loyalty to Israel. This is all the Arabs have on America, OIL! In a country where the trust in G-d is engraved on the dollar bill, one cannot expect America to care about Israel’s capital city over billions of dollars of oil.

What about the American public? Didn’t they witness the murders of thousands of Americans and the downfall of the Twin Towers? Didn’t they witness the endless hijackings of plains in the 1980’s by Arafat’s thugs? What motivates the American public to elect a president whose middle name is Hussein and whose American identity is in question, while his connection to fanatic Muslim preachers is a well documented fact?

I believe the American public, just like the liberal left in Israel, has been drugged by the fantasy of world peace. Doves flying, balloons being set free and other childish make believe happy go lucky ideas. Unfortunately, here in Israel, we are not to enjoy these fantasies of peace because of the Muslim terrorist bomber who won’t allow us to shoot up and become high on a virtual reality. This “peace drug” is so strong that Americans will try to bridge the “gap” and become close to their enemies instead of fighting them. They will even turn their backs on their only true democratic ally in the sea of Middle East Totalitarian Muslim countries.

The question is not is America friend or Foe. The question is when will someone warn Uncle Sam to wake up? All I know is, it better happen soon before someone puts a burke on the Statue of Liberty.

Should I Laugh or Cry?

My kids were so excited when I told them they would be joining me this year on the Jerusalem Day Flag Parade
As I did for the past 15 years, I pulled out my flags from the Machsan and got ready to feel that warm proud feeling I get every time I walk around the Old City of Jerusalem with the Blue and White Israeli flag waving high above my head.

As I arrived in town I found the FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND Jews dancing through the streets of Jerusalem and once again that warm feeling of Am Yisrael Chai came over me and even succeeded in producing tears of happiness.

This was not a political demonstration or even a statement being made to the world, it was just an outpouring of love by the Jewish people to G-d Thanking Him for returning us to the eternal holy city of Jerusalem.

It was a moment of meditation, of realization, of understanding that we the Jews beat the test of time. We survived 2000 years of homeless history and we have finally come home!
Like a mother who has been reunited with her long lost son of so many years, so to were the vibrations of celebration in the streets of Jerusalem.

At first, my family didn’t march; we just stood in awe and watched as the future generations of Israel danced by us. They were free of any conformity or peer pressure, they didn’t care what was being said or thought about their joyous flag dancing, they were just happy!

As we joined the dancers towards the walls of the Old City, it was hard not to imagine those brave soldiers who put their personal lives in danger 40 years ago so that Jews can once again walk freely in their own home.

As we were deciding which one of the Old City gates we would walk through, my father said,

“Today we take Damascus Gate!”

Although the Damascus Gate is open all year around, it is usually Jew free due to the threat of violence from Arab terrorists.
My reaction at first was one of agreement, “YES! Today we go where we want!” Before I had the chance to smile, I realized what I had just said!

I once heard a story of a boy who lived in one of the Ghettos and was once allowed to roam freely, he too said,

“Today I go where I want!”
Am I in a ghetto?!

It was then that my happiness was put on pause. A terrible realization hit me like a brick! While we are free to hold a Jerusalem day parade and remember when Jerusalem was liberated from the racist fascist hands of Muslim rule, I am still not free!

Although I swear never to forget Jerusalem and I call it my Jerusalem, I am a stranger in my own home and Jerusalem is mine, BUT… only for one day a year?
“TODAY we go through Damascus gate”?
Am I limited to where I can go in my own home?

Just before the tears of happiness were on the verge of being overtaken by tears of sadness, the unified voice of song emanating from the crowd of hundreds of thousands of Jews praising Jerusalem saved the day.
A half a million Jews singing with fervor and love joined together as one, to sing songs of praise and once again the warm happy feeling was restored.

As we made our way down the narrow alleyways of the Shuk, singing and dancing, I had almost but forgotten what had saddened me.

The only thought that kept echoing in my head was “WHY”?
If Jerusalem is mine, then why is it that I can’t walk through any street I choose on any given day?!
This is MY COUNTRY! Isn’t it?

AND THEN THE ANSWER HIT MY DAUGHTER ON THE HEAD!

As we made our way towards the Western Wall, there was a great scream and then the sound of rocks and pebbles hitting the ground. Arabs vigilantes threw rocks from their windows onto the crowd. As I looked up, I saw an Arab with a glass bottle in hand ready to throw it onto the Jewish crowd. I pushed my kids towards cover where my parents where standing, and made my way through the very crowded street till I reached a policeman.
As if to say, “Although you cops disappointed me with your violent attacks on Jewish settlers and your past history of hatred towards the ‘right’,
I still have trust that you are here to protect Israeli citizens”.

I tapped the officer of the law on the shoulder and told him that I spotted the Arab who was responsible for this violent attack. As I was picking up my finger to show the Israeli Policeman where the Arab assailant was, the cop turned to me with eyes full of anger.

I was under the impression that he too was angry with the Arab terrorists who were trying to injure innocent Jewish marchers. I thought he too felt the historic irony of the Jewish nation celebrating the coming home to a safe Jerusalem and having to fear Arab anti-Semitic terror!
I was sure the Israeli police would charge the Arab assailants and arrest them.

BOY WAS I WRONG!

Although the attack was an unprovoked one, the Policeman’s reaction put the blame on the Jews!
He called the rest of his brut squad, and as if they were dealing with a group of terrorists who dare to March through the streets of Jerusalem, they pushed as hard as they could, while screaming at US!
We were at fault!
The police were angry with the marchers! As if to say,

“you Jews have no right to be here!”

Many fell to the floor including elderly and children.
As I regained my posture I turned to the same Cop and started yelling. “Why are you pushing us? The Arab guy with the bottle (which was already shattering over the crowd) is the terrorist, GRAB HIM!”

But the police had no intention to deal with the Arabs.
The police had no intention to protect the citizens of Israel.
In fact I have absolutely no idea what the police force’s intentions were?!
Why were they there?
Who were they protecting?

Several of the marchers decided that they have had enough and they decided that if the police were not going to deal with the Arab threat, then matters must be taken into their own hands. A group of 20 Jews ran towards the Arab assailant’s house and it was then that the Police decided they had to intervene.
Finally!!

ONCE AGAIN MY ASSUMPTION WAS ALL-WRONG!

The police charged the Jewish group and grabbed them with such force and intent.
How worried the police were that the Jews might injure the Arab assailants!

Where was this force when that Arabs were trying to injure Jewish innocent bystanders?
Why are Israeli police protecting Arab vigilantes instead of protecting innocent citizens of Israel?
Where is the logic?

My daughters started crying as did so many other children whose only crime was to celebrate the freedom of Jerusalem.
When I asked my daughter why she was crying, she turned to me and said,
“Why are the police getting angry at us and not at the Arabs?
Who is the enemy, the Arabs or the police?”

I had no answer.

It was then I realized why Jerusalem is not mine.
It is not because she does want to be ours!
It is not because G-d is keeping her from Jewish sovereignty!
It is not because we lost some war or that we were chased out by Arab mobs!
It is not because of the UN!

Jerusalem is not ours because we don’t believe she is!
Because we don’t scream:
JERUSALEM IS OURS!

We are embarrassed and careful not to make such statements as it might upset the same Arab vigilantes that threw rocks and bottles at Jewish dancers.
It was the grandparents of these Arabs who slaughtered the Jewish population of Chevron in 1929 and it is with these murderers that the Israeli Government is making deals.

If we believed this was our home, there would be no deal,
There would be war!

We would stand up and fight for what is ours; we would fight for our home!
One does not give up his home to terrorists!
He fights against them to protect his family and his home!
This is why Jerusalem is not mine!

The Israeli Policeman who took his anger out on Jewish dancers is a symptom of Israel denying Jewish ownership over Jerusalem.

The cop pushed us because he saw Jews walking through the Old City of Jerusalem as an act of incitement!
Since when is an owner considered a criminal because he decides to dance through his own home?!

This is why Israel is in danger.
The Arabs do not really threaten Israel’s existence.
Not even a nuclear Iranian missile!

NO SIR!

What threatens Jewish existence in the Land of Israel is the fact that the Police and the Israeli public see Jewish presence in Jerusalem, Chevron, or Gush Katif as an act of incitement!

When people actually believe that the key to peace is a Jew free area in the land of Israel, you know we are in trouble!

When the JEWISH solution to 60 years of War that were forced upon us, is dismantling Jewish settlements and implanting Judenrein as a way to peace, chills rush up my spine. I contemplate who the last person in history was who saw Jew free areas as a way to peace!

This is the imminent danger that Israel is facing.
Wars are not won with guns or firepower!
We were the underdog throughout seven wars when the Arabs tried to annihilate us!
We won not because of tanks or bullets but because of our belief!
It was the Jew coming back to the Land of Israel that kept the soldiers so strong!
It was Jewish history and pride that kept the Muslims at bay!
If we lose that belief, if we forget Jerusalem, then we have forgotten who we are and no military power will keep us safe!

Without getting into a Halachic debate, if we accept the fact that the Temple Mount is closed to Jewish worshipers, if we accept the reality that the Damascus gate is safe for Jews only once a year, then there really is no reason to celebrate, just to worry!

How can we expect the world to take us seriously when Israel claims that Jerusalem is the eternal capital of Israel, when we , the little people, are scared and embarrassed to say so ourselves?

Israel is the Jewish homeland and as long as we hold that flag up high and say so with conviction and intent, then all who hear our cry will understand that no people or nation has the right to strip the nation of Israel from the Land of Israel and certainly not from Jerusalem!

As the parade ended at the Kotel and I looked over a balcony and saw 500,000 Jews dancing, I understood through their happiness and prayer that they have not given up on Jerusalem.
It was then that I realized that although there are those who have lost their faith in their people and their land, I have stayed loyal and strong, as will my kids (G-d willing).

An inextinguishable flame of belief has been passed through 2000 years of Jewish exile longing the return to Jerusalem.
As I stood overlooking the western wall I found a half million Jews who were dancing and committing to pass on that flame.
It was then that the warm happy feeling came back, as I found myself dancing with my nation in my home.

Longings for Zion and Jerusalem have accompanied the Jewish people in their exile, for more than 2,500 years, from the time of the Babylonian Exile (by Nebuchadnezzar in 598-537 bce), and since the conquest of Jerusalem and its destruction by the Roman army of Titus in 70 ce, after which began the great dispersion of the Jewish people. Longings for Jerusalem are mentioned more than 1,000 times in the Bible as well as in the Talmud, and in daily and holiday prayers - and are summed up in vision and hope at the end of the Passover Haggadah; in the supplicatory words,

"Next Year in Jerusalem."
Some of the most poignant expressions of these feelings were composed by the author of the Psalms:

"By the waters of Babylon, there we sat down and wept when we remembered Zion. On the willows there we hung up our lyres" (137, 1-2).

"If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand wither, let my tongue cleave to my palate if I do not remember you, if I do not set Jerusalem above my highest joy." (137, 5-7).

WAS THE OSLO TREATY A MISTAKE?

Well, that depends on whom you ask.
The right-wingers will say “OF COURSE it was a mistake! “
However, the Left will say “Of course NOT”.

What about the Palestinians?
Thousands of Arabs have been killed, and the economical situation in the Palestinian areas is now much worse since the treaty was signed.
YET
The Arabs believe that the accords accomplished something positive for the Palestinians.

What have the Palestinians gained from the treaty?

The answer really depends on what the Oslo accords were supposed to accomplish.

If the accords were supposed to bring peace, then it is pretty obvious that the accords were a tremendous failure for both Israelis and Palestinians alike.

If the Goal of the Accords was to bring security to the area, then the Oslo treaty was and is a tremendous failure,
Can anyone deny that since and in direct result of the Oslo ‘peace’ accords, security has reached rock bottom?
The number of Israelis murdered in the 14 years following the ‘Peace treaty’, has been disproportionately higher than 30 years of “occupation” that pre dated the “Peace” accords.

SO WHAT HAS THE OSLO PEACE ACCORDS ACCOMPLISHED, AND WHY DO SOME STILL CONSIDER THE ACCORDS A SUCCESS?

The best way we can judge the outcome of the accords is to look at the hopes and expectations of the leaders who signed the accords.
What did the leaders expect?
What were they giving up and what did they want to receive in return?
On the beautiful green lawn of the White house, Yitzchak Rabin turned to his Palestinian partner and said,
“After a century of blood, we want to live in peace, and we realize your right to a homeland in Palestine”.

What Rabin actually accomplished, was to assist the Palestinian propaganda machine by saying that we have been at war with a Palestinian entity for over a century.
Furthermore, for the first time in the history of the world, the Palestinian Arabs received credit and recognition as a real entity deserving a state on what was once known as the land of Israel.

The following truths were nullified by Rabin’s bold (and very stupid) statements of Peace:
1. Israel NEVER fought a war against a Palestinian entity!
2. Israel NEVER conquered Palestinian land!
3. A Palestinians Arab nation NEVER existed!
4. NO Palestinian people, nation, or entity has any right to even an inch of ownership over Israel!
Finally
The Arabs who call themselves Palestinian, are in NO way connected to the area the Romans called Palestine!

I challenge any ‘Leftist’ to find me one Arab Palestinian general who fought and led a Palestinian army in any of the wars Israel was forced to fight!

I challenge any ‘Leftist’ to find me a name of one Palestinian Mayor of any Palestinian city dating back to pre-48 time!

What Rabin actually said was,
“We give up!
If you stop killing us, we will accept the Palestinian delusional history books.
We will apologize for stealing PA land and we will promise to restore the PA State!” (Even though in reality it never existed)

Not only did Rabin rewrite history for President Clinton, Arafat, and the rest of the world, he rewrote it for the ministry of education in Israel!

Israeli kids are being brought up to believe that we stole or conquered Palestinian lands. When I ask random Israeli kids who ruled Jerusalem before 67’ the answer is usually the Palestinians!
The Israeli public, especially the youth, have been poisoned by a ‘peace drug’.
(You thought cocaine was addictive and dangerous?)

The general public has been reprogrammed to believe that Israel stole and conquered Palestinian land and forcibly kicked poor Palestinian refugees out of their homes and that the state of Israel was built on stolen land.

After such a rewrite of history, it is of no surprise, that when the Palestinians say they are willing to forgive the crimes we committed in 1948 but are not willing to forgive or forget the grave atrocities of 67’, the Left, who have become historically retarded, react with such love and applaud to the very “forgiving” Palestinian peace offering.
After all, the Palestinians are victims of Israeli occupation and are willing to close an eye to the atrocities of 48’! How can we refuse?!

What did Arafat say on the white house lawn? What was he willing to give up?
Yasser turned to Rabin and said:
“We realize that Israel has a right to exist and we shall stop the use of force as a strategically tool.”

Rabin distorts history for the good of the Palestinian people and Arafat admits that we have a right to exist?!
WOW!
Arafat gave the following to his people:
The Palestinian Arab realizes for the first time that Israel has given up.
The intifadas have succeeded.
Violence against Israel brings results.
They also realized that Israelis are addicted to the word peace.
So any time a Jew is killed the following steps should be taken:
Condemn the terrorist on all major news channels
Hand the terrorist a big fat check
Scream to the press that it was a reaction to the Israeli occupation that Rabin admitted to.
Announce that the Palestinian people are interested in peace. And…..
Everything will be OK.

For the first time in history, the Palestinians have become a nation.
They have received land, weapons, and world recognition.
They have become the victim of Israeli terror and Israel is continuously being pointed a finger at, as vicious occupiers of PA land.

DID ISRAEL GAIN ANYTHING?
There is no longer a rock-throwing problem.
After the accords were signed the rocks changed to bullets, bombs, and eventually missiles.
Remember those good old days before we made ‘peace’ when it was enough to put plastic windows on the car?
Israel gave up her land, distorted history for the good of peace, denied her own rights and morality, and in return received
BOOOM!!

So why there are some Israelis who still think the Oslo accords were a good thing?
For the Israelis who have been brainwashed to believe that they are part of a terrible villain called Israel that killed and occupied lands that belonged to others, the Oslo accords are a way of amending the evils of the past.

Oslo is not about peace; it is about rectifying wrongs that were perpetuated by Israel against the Palestinian people in the past.

It is therefore clear why the Left still believe Oslo was a good thing even though the Palestinians are still murdering Jews.
It is a way to say sorry for atrocities that Israel NEVER committed!

This idea can also account for the Left’s animosity towards the right.
See, according to the Leftist warped history, the Right is a movement that is not willing to own up to the ‘fascist’ ways that Yitzchak Rabin admitted to on the white house lawn.
Of course, in reality, the only crime the right is really guilt of is the refusal to accept the rewritten leftist history book!
Could the PA have asked for anything more?

The Palestinian terrorists are seen as victims in the eyes of the world, and Israel is seen as the villain.
Even today as missiles rain down on Israel proper (Sderot), the UN has a hard time condemning the Palestinians for their ongoing attempt to murder Jews and destroy Israel. BUT when Israel takes out a head Honcho terrorist we are condemned for illegal assassinations!

Why we have to say "THANK YOU" to Achmed Tibi

Before I tell you about my gratitude towards Dr. Tibi, let me give you all a little background on the man.
Dr. Tibi was working as an intern in Hadassah hospital. He was eventually thrown out after assaulting a guard who demanded to check his briefcase.
He hit the guard over the head with his attaché case while claiming that the guard was not showing him enough respect.
The guard required stitches and Tibi required a new job.

After leaving the health sector, Dr. Tibi went to work for Dr. Death, better known as, Nobel Peace Prize winner, Yasser Arafat.

Tibi served as a political advisor to the late Palestinian Chairman for several years, even representing the Palestinians at the 1998 Wye river negotiations.
Tibi resigned from the post in 1999, upon deciding to run for the ISRAELI Knesset.

Tibi has described his relationship with Arafat as "close" and "extremely interesting and important [to him]."
Tibi was first elected to the Knesset in 1999.

Dr. Tibi has made some travel plans over the past several years that caused great anger in Israel.
In 2002 he spent many days in Gaza and eventually MK Michael Kleiner initiated actions in the Knesset to restrict movements by Tibi inside the Gaza strip. Kleiner claimed that Tibi was assisting the Palestinians in their war against Israel.

Later Tibi made several trips to Lebanon and met with Nasrallah and at the height of Tibi's vacationing he visited Syria, and met with one of Israel's worst enemies, Assad.

The best vacation Dr. Achmed Tibi took so far was to Qatar 08’.
While the Foreign Minister of Israel, Tzipi Livni, was trying to improve Israel’s world image at the Qatar International DOCHA forum, Achmed Tibi was there signed in as a delegate for the PALESTINIANS!
As if that wasn’t enough, Achmed Tibi decided it was his responsibility, as a Palestinian, to publicly embarrass the foreign minister as well as the State of Israel.

No matter where Dr. Achmed Tibi has chosen to vacation, it is clear that Dr. Achmed Tibi is a proud Palestinian.

What I don't understand is, why are the Israelis so upset or surprised?
Achmed Tibi isn’t hiding anything!
He describes himself as Arab-Palestinian in nationality, but has called Israel his "homeland”.
In other words he lives in Geographic Israel but his heart is with the Palestinians.

What do the Israelis expect?
Is there anyone in Israel who expects Tibi to choose the Jews over his brother Muslims?
Did Israelis expect Tibi to choose Barak over Yasser?

Achmed Tibi is doing exactly what would be expected of any Allah fearing Muslim, being loyal to Muslims and ....wishing for the destruction of Israel.

My problem is not with Achmed Tibi or any Arab for that matter.
The Arabs are doing exactly what they believe in.
My problem is with the Israelis who honestly believe that Tibi would or should be loyal, at any time in his life, to the Jewish State of Israel!

I say ‘thank you’ to Dr. Tibi and any Loyal Zionist should do the same.

The left would have you believe that Jews and Arabs can live in peace, דו קיום, as they call it. There are some Israelis who actually believe that when Saddam or Achmanajed attack Israel, the Arabs will side with Israel!

There are even some Israelis who will have you believe that Israeli Arabs are actually loyal, equal rights, law abiding citizens of the Jewish State.
You show me one Arab who sings ‘Hatikvah’ with intent and I will show you a flying donkey!

Are there any Israelis or sane individuals who actually believe that the Israeli Arab likes or agrees with the sentence in ‘Hatikvah’ that speaks of the yearning of a Jewish soul?

In fact, Raleb Majadele, the first Arab – Israeli appointed as a minister in the Knesset, refused to sing the anthem in January 2007, stating that the song was written for Jews only.

Would you sing an anthem if it were talking about the yearning of an Arab soul?

What Achmed Tibi has proven is that Arabs can’t live under Jewish law. Not because the Jews won’t let them but because the Arabs don’t want to!

What Dr. Achmed Tibi has taught all of us is that the only true solution is a separation between Jews and Arabs, a Partition Plan.

An Arab State on the other side of the Jordan (we are willing at this moment to forgive the TransJordan part of the land of Israel) and the Jewish State on this side of the river.

Why does the Jewish State act so NOT Jewish?

During the Seder night I closed my eyes and contemplated the historical roller coaster the Jewish nation has ridden for the past 2000 years. I then thought about current events in modern day Israel. As I opened my eyes, I found my family staring at me with wonder. It took me several seconds till I realized that while I was contemplating the contrast between the Jews throughout history and the Israelis, I accidentally screamed;
“ WHAT IN G-D’S NAME HAPPENED?”

For over two thousand years, Jews have prayed and bled the dream of returning home to the Land Of Israel. At least three times a day during prayer and several additional times during grace after meals, Jews pray and yearn to return home to the land of Israel and to rebuild Jerusalem.
We have traveled the world throughout history and faced Anti-Semitism throughout Europe as well as Africa (Arabian lands). The Jewish nation has been split and spread throughout the world for over a millennium, and yet, Jews have always kept the dream of returning home to the land of Israel alive.

In 1948, after the world had once again betrayed the Jewish nation by allowing Hitler’s dreams to become a reality, the Jews, on G-d’s merit alone, were able to return to the land of Israel and start the rebuilding of the Jewish homeland.

Whether you are a Christian, Muslim, or even a dead atheist, one can not argue the right of the Jews to the land of Israel, every last inch of it.
We were not on vacation for two thousand years.
We were kicked out and persecuted over and over by different nations of the world.
The Romans raped us, stole our lands, and handed them over to the Christians who built churches over synagogue grounds and attempted to destroy the Jewish nation by forceful conversions!
Then came the Muslims, who, till this day, have no respect for others. Not only did they build their mosques over places of Jewish worship, they made sure that no reminisce or witness of a Jewish population remained.
They built their gold dome over the place of the Temple Mount and till today, continue to destroy artifacts from the time of the temple!

In 1948, the Jewish nation finally returned home!
Unlike the British, who are British by virtue of their living in Britain, or Americans who are identified by the fact they live in America, we, the Jews, are identified by a moral and ethical code.
Unlike every other nation in the world, the nation of Israel is not named after the land but rather the land of Israel was named after the nation.

If someone in the world believes the LAND OF ISRAEL rightfully belongs to anyone other than the NATION OF ISRAEL then they must also believe George Washington’s white horse was BLUE!

The sad truth is that I do not expect the world to heed to Jewish law or belief.
I do not expect the world to understand and help the Jewish people.
It has never happened before and it will probably not happen till the times of the Messiah.

I don’t have the need or obligation to convince the world that I have a right to my home any more than I would have to convince the US to bomb the train tracks in AUSCHWITZ!
It is either a waste of my time or such an obvious thing that one should not have to explain it.

What does bother me however, is the opposition from home.
Jews who have chosen to stand against other Jews and against the return home to Israel.

How has it happened that Jews whose ancestors were undeniably religious (go back a max of 75 years) are now shouting bloody murder against Jewish settlers of the Land of Israel?
How has it happened that the majority of Jews living in the State of Israel call themselves “secular”? How has it happened that when a Jew moves up to a desolate mountain he is branded a fascist radical while a Jewish prime minister who rips 8,000 Jews from their homes, digs up graves of Jews, and actually succeeds in implementing Jude rein in Gaza is considered a hero?!?!

It was these questions that kept me busy throughout the holiday of Pesach.
As if I needed proof to my claim that something is strange and bothersome about modern day Israel, the Supreme Court decided to put the topping on the cake. A week before the Passover holiday the high court of ISRAEL (high court of Israel? HA! Maybe of America Or Greece, Or Rome. I am not sure anymore) decided that it was unconstitutional not to allow people to sell Chometz in restaurants!
UNCONSTITUTIONAL???

For G-d’s SAKE!! It is unconstitutional to SELL CHOMETZ on PESACH!!

Then again, it all depends on what your constitution is!

The court went on to explain that we (the religious) can’t force our traditions and customs on others.

OUR CUSTOMS!!

First of all, Israel can and does force customs on the population, and second if Chometz is OUR custom then the land of Israel also belongs to us (the traditional Jews).
There is no Jewish state without Judaism!

The proof that the State of Israel can force someone to adopt customs is the closing of shops on Yom Hazikaron and Holocaust Remembrance Day.
I am not Chareidi, I served in the army and have lost a handful of friends in battle so I hope no liberal leftist is going to start giving me lip about the fact that I don’t respect the dead!

What if I have a different custom? What if my custom is to sit and learn or to say a prayer? What if I don’t adopt the imbecile ways of a new made up Israeli secular religion? Am I still accepted as a law-abiding citizen of the State?
If you live in Israel the answer is NO!
Every Holocaust Remembrance Day, the press enjoys going out to chareidi neighborhoods to film Chareidi hoodlums who enjoy the attention the press crusaders give them.
Why does the press do this every year? What does it prove?
Either the press wants to spread the hate towards religious Jews (although the Majority of religious Jews adopt the custom of standing) or the Israeli society is trying through social pressure and embarrassment to force the whole world to accept their customs or face the wrath of the press!
HOW DARE YOU GO AGAINST THIS IMPORTANT CUSTOM OF STANDING?

When it come to Chometz…well that’s a different story, the wrath is on those who are trying to preserve a law and a tradition that’s deeply rooted in the books of all books and in the real and only Jewish constitution; THE TORAH.

SO HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?
How is it, that after two thousand years of praying and yearning to return home, we are destroying the home we have finally succeeded in returning to?
The answer has been staring all the readers right in the face. The secular Israeli movement believed they could build an Israel that would be separate from the Jew.
This idea has been around since the birth of modern day Israel. When Hertzl had a vision of a Jewish state, it was one that was based on ethnic Judaism rather than religion.
Hertzl himself did not have to face this question since the Jewish State was still in its inception stages.
Another reason why this problem did not arise was, Jews at the time were fighting Anti-Semitism and had no time on their hands to destroy themselves.

By the time Ben Gurion was making Hertzl’s dream a reality the bout between Jewish vs. Israeli had already begun.
The Secular Israelis who despised (and despise) Judaism were working on an ethnical Jewish homeland free of any Jewish responsibility.
If you ate bagels, lox, and cream cheese then for the secular Israeli movement you were a Jew!
There was no need for religious responsibility or connection.
For this reason the idea of creating a state in Uganda was created.
Why would a Jew build his home in Uganda? How could the Zionist entity even dream of a JEWISH homeland anywhere else besides ISRAEL?
The secular movement was looking at the problem from another angle. How can the Jewish people build a state in the biblical land of Israel and stop people from becoming biblically Jewish?

Even the Secular movement understood, that when the idea of a Jewish State separates itself from Jewish tradition it becomes a ludicrous idea.
The secular Zionist movement is a ghost movement free of any historic rights, traditions, or obligations, and without historic or religious rights the movement was forced to find a desolate area that nobody cared about and Uganda fulfilled that need.

Unfortunately for the secular Zionist movement, the idea of a Jewish homeland outside the Land Of Israel was one that any proud Jew who cherished Jewish tradition was not willing to accept.

So how is it that the Jewish state is so UNJewish? The answer is simple; Israelis, not Jews, are running the country. This does not mean that the leaders are not biologically Jewish; it just means that they have chosen the Israeli over the Jewish.
The secular Israeli has succeeded on building a state….but not a Jewish one.

This battle between Judaism and secular 'Israelism' is still going on and although the secular Israeli has been fighting hard and winning several battles their ghost reign is coming to an end.
The secular Israeli has succeeded in uprooting Jewish ideas from a full generation and has been triumphant in causing great ignorance when it comes to Jewish tradition but now the younger generations are asking questions.
“Israel, what for? Why? Put my life on the line, for what?” Jewish homeland, my parents hate religion!” See you can turn a Jew secular but he will always be Jewish.

As long as this state tries to escape it's Jewish connection, it will continue to limp and struggle. The secular State of Israel will always be a dying shadow when compared to the rich and proud history of the Jewish people and traditions that have been around for over 3,000 years.

I think the title says it all...

After living in Israel for over two decades it is very common for people to give in to leftist propaganda.
I recall the day I arrived in Israel and held a very vocal argument with one of the leftists of Israeli society.
I said to him, " the whole Arab Jewish issue is quite simple, black and white, Israel is the religious and historical home to the Jewish nation, the Arabs throughout history came in to our home and conquered areas that rightfully belong to the Jewish people. On top of the fact that they violently took over Jewish lands they have been murdering and abusing Jews both in Israel as well as in Chutz Laaretz for the longest time. What would you do if someone invaded your home, murdered your sister or brother and then told you they would stop murdering your family if you would just give them your bedroom?
I would kick em in the rear and force them out of my house!"

To this the leftists said to me, " you are new here and you will realize in time that things are not so simple"
Well I have been here for over a decade now, served in the army, lost a friend in battle and had the honor of visiting Lebanon over the last ' so called' war and the Arab Israeli issue seems just as black and white today as it did when I got of the plane.

Bottom line - This is My Israel Not Yours - Many would call this a childish statement - that might be true, unless you really believe this is your home, in which case, you would mean it.

All the Mumbo Jumbo the leftists use to try to mix up the loyal Jewish inhabitants of the Land Of Israel doesn't change the basic fact that the LAND OF ISRAEL belongs to the NATION OF ISRAEL and does not offer any ownership rights to Muslims just because they are violent and believe that they have 70 Virgins waiting for them if they BLOW some Jews up.

What's the solution? very simple - someone invades your home and starts to murder your family - what do u do?

First thing that has to be done is to make a clear statement - MY ISRAEL NOT YOURS - - then do what has to be done to protect your family from the fangs of Muslim terrorists who have always had a thirst for Jewish blood!
